Dr. Tanya Chaljian, O.D.
Optometrist
Dr. Tanya Chaljian is a California-licensed optometrist dedicated to delivering compassionate, comprehensive eye care to all of her patients. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Microbiology and a minor in Biology, graduating magna cum laude. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University, graduating magna cum laude and earning membership in the prestigious Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society in recognition of her academic excellence.
During her training, Dr. Chaljian completed extensive clinical externships with a strong emphasis on primary eye care, ocular disease diagnosis and management, as well as cornea and contact lens care. Her externship training included experience at the University Eye Center at Ketchum Health, the Downtown Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Medical Center, South Central Family Health Center, and East Valley Eye Center. These diverse clinical settings allowed her to take care of a wide variety of patient populations and complex ocular conditions.
Licensed by the State of California to practice optometry to the fullest scope, Dr. Chaljian provides comprehensive eye examinations, medical eye care, and customized vision solutions tailored to each individuals needs.
Above all, Dr. Chaljian is known for her compassionate and empathetic approach. She believes exceptional eye care begins with listening, understanding, and building trust with every patient she serves.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and exploring her passion for interior design.
